(NTU BB) To strengthen the spirit of the social contribution awards

NTU Beyond Borders Social Contribution Awards Introduction

To enhance students' global mobility, to strengthen the spirit of the social contribution awards, we call for proposals from winners of the Student Social Devotion Special Award and the Student Altruistic Award, aiming to guide more NTU students toward participating in international service activities and to expand the scale and impact of these services.

 

This project scheme, based on the awardees dedication and leadership to recruit new members (Students currently enrolled at this school, excluding students on leave of absence or who have withdrawn/dismiss) , includes a basic funding of 100,000   200,000 NTD, along with an bonus support of 60,000 200,000 NTD.

Reward Object

Application for proposals for the winners of the Student Social Contribution Special Award and the Student Altruism Award.

Reward Amount

Basic reward:

The applicant leads one NTU student to participate in international service. For service in the Asia region (excluding mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau), a reward of 100,000 NTD will be granted; for service in Europe, America, Oceania, and Africa, a reward of 200,000 NTD will be granted.

Additional Reward:

In addition, rewards will be granted based on the applicant's dedication and leadership to recruit new members.If the total number of new members led reaches 2, an additional reward of 60,000 NTD will be granted; if the total reaches 3 to 4 members, an additional reward of 150,000 NTD will be granted; if the total reaches 5 or more members, the additional reward will be capped at 200,000 NTD.

Application Period

Scheduled for implementation in 2025, with proposal applications due by the end of September and service outcome record submissions due by the end of October.

2.International Service Plan Proposal(the content must include: background of the activity, service objectives, country/region/city of service, target beneficiaries, timeline and items, implementation methods, budget table, expected number of new members, anticipated benefits, etc.)  (Attachment 2)

 

Submission of Results

Submit the service outcome record by the end of October.
